A lib Dem I actually like!!

Most people who read this blog know that I am a Labour supporter. However, there is a Lib Dem MP in parliament who I am a great admirer of. Vince Cable. His reading of the global financial crisis has been spot on, and I genuinely believe, with the treasury portfolio, he is head and shoulders above Alistair Darling, and the very weak George Osbourne. It is Vince's words I look for when comments are being made about things like the banking crisis. If the next parliament ends up as a coalition, in my view Vince deserves a high ranking treasury job.
