I'm back online
I am now with another internet provider. I have been over two weeks without internet access. It is amazing just how much you miss being online. Lucky enough, I have a library at the bottom of my road where I could access the internet. The one useful by-product of all this was it forced me to join the library!!! Normal service has now resumed!!!

I cannot believe you were not already a member of the library, the most valuable public service we offer in my view.

I suppose I am a bit of a literary snob. I read reguarly. However I tend to buy books from a book club. Funny enough though, you would be suprised to find so many people ( and comrades) that I had not seen for ages that I met during my sortie to the library. I will keep up my membership and withdraw books. That is a promise!!!
