Michael Jackson

Whilst I thought Jacko was a brilliant artist, I had no time for the soap opera that was the rest of his life.
I hope his children's future gets sorted very soon for their sakes.
To my mind, there were two winners regarding Michael Jackson's death:
1) The mobile phone companies. They will make millions in all the texts of a dubious and bad taste nature currently in circulation;
and
2) The westminster politicians. Nobody is talking about their expenses now!!

hope not hate

I have received the link below regarding the hope not hate campaign. Please support this organisation. Now more than ever we need to stand up to the repulsive and bigoted policies of the BNP.

Not in my name. Stop the BNP: http://bit.ly/19fl7s #stopthebnp #hopenothate

Grace's First Communion

Yesterday afternoon I spent at a party to celebrate the first communion of Grace, the daughter of my friends Anne and Paul.
When I arrived, Grace was still in her communion dress. She looked a proper little lady.
I did not go to the church due to the fact that two classes from the school were taking their first communion, and the families were limited to ten people only.
Thanks to Anne and Paul for inviting me, I had a very pleasurable afternoon.

Thatcher

I saw on the news today that Margaret Thatcher is hospital with a broken arm. Pity it's only a broken arm.
I hope there is a shortage of anasthetic when the surgeon operates!!!

North West Euro Elections

To my utter shame, the North West region ,where I live ,has returned a racist BNP representative to the European Parliament.
THIS VILE CREATURE WILL NEVER SPEAK ON MY BEHALF.

The soldiers who gave their lives up for our freedom must be turning in their graves. On the day after the D-day commemorations as well.
It is a slur on all of us,and a particular insult to the diverse, tolerant and multicultural society that the overwhelming majority of us support.
